A Conveyor is a rubber reinforced continuous belt that is supported on rollers. It supports solid materials between stock piles, surge bins and feeders. An electric drive motor at its head pulley drives it. A Conveyor is commonly used in factories and manufacturing houses. It is especially useful for transporting large amounts of raw materials from one point in a warehouse to another. The Conveyor makes it easy for workers to transport heavy material that they would otherwise have to constantly load onto some form of transport. It is crucial to keep a check on the performance of a Conveyor on a monthly, bi-monthly or bi-yearly basis in order to make sure it is free of any defects or faults that can cause a hindrance in operation or injuries.
